Toddlers (12 to 24 months)

With toddlers, we introduce group concepts and scheduled activities that align with the children’s increasing peer interaction and social connectivity. As their attention span is expanding so are the blocks of time devoted to specific elements of the lesson plan. That lesson plan focuses extensively on language development and includes singing, reading books and, to help the children’s ability to communicate keep up with their desire to be understood, basic sign language.

Various “self-help” skills are also introduced with our teachers assisting the children in learning how to do things such as wash their hands, feed themselves and hold various items.

There’s also plenty of structured outdoor play time to accommodate the children’s rapidly developing mobility. This play time is directed appropriately and is carefully managed so that only children of the same age are out together. The school day for our toddlers is active, mobile, and managed with love.
