Beat the Heat Wave
It sure is hot out there and it can be hard to keep the kids engaged without breaking the bank. We have a few suggestions on how you can keep cool with your kids this summer:
Have a water fight! Fill up some water balloons and let the kids go to town.
Head to the beach. The beach offers a number of ways for the kids to have fun while cooling off. Sandcastles, floats, shell picking and water toys are all great things to do.
Have a car wash. Break out the kid’s toy cars and have them wash them. Or, they can help you wash your own car and cool off with the hose and spray bottles in the process.
Make your own slip-n-slide. Just pick up a few items and let your kids slip and slide their hearts out!
