Saving Time with a Busy Schedule

Saving Time with a Busy Schedule

Family life can be hectic! From work to school to dinners and appointments it can be hard to keep everything on track. We have a few ideas that could help save you some time (and sanity).

Try meal prepping. Pick one day a week and plan out your meals in advance, chop and prep all items on your list and store for cooking.

Try cooking time savers. Why not take a look at some of those meal kit delivery services that have been popping up everywhere? Check out this handy comparison to get an idea of what might be right for you.  Other popular kitchen items that many use to speed up their meals are the Instant Pot and Crockpot.

Schedule Appointments Together.  If you are a busy working parent, it could be easier to just take one day off and handle all of your appointments that day, like dental and medical visits, for you and your kids. Whenever possible, try scheduling your child’s medical appointments together as well.

Get moving together. It can be tricky to find time to work out and be healthy so why not try engaging in fun, active activities as a family? Try visiting a new park or nature trail and enjoy the fresh air while going for a walk or hike.
