A Jill of All Trades
Melinda Warren has been with ACWLC-South for nearly ten years and during that time, has proven to be the epitome of a team player. Though her job title technically says “School-Age Coordinator”, on any given day you can find Ms. Melinda opening the toddler room, serving children lunch from the kitchen, or caring for babies in the infant room. She manages two district schedules for the elementary-aged children, and plans fun activities and field trips for them every summer. Many children have aged out of their ACWLC careers by learning from Ms. Melinda in the Yellow Jackets class, improving their personal responsibility skills and good character traits both in and out of the building.
Melinda is willing to go above and beyond for the needs of the center. She is dependable, flexible, and can be counted on to help out in any given situation. She never says, “No”! She is capable of leading and training new hires, and serves as a great example as an ACWLC team member. Congratulations, Ms. Melinda, on being this month’s Spotlight on Excellence feature teacher. Thank you for all you do!
